PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection apparatus and a connection method enabling a connection target body to be efficiently connected to a tubular body by means of a heat-shrinkable tube.SOLUTION: A connection apparatus is provided for connecting a tubular body such as a tubular separation membrane 3 and an end tube 4 or an end plug 20 together by means of a thermal shrinking tube 21. The connection apparatus comprises: a base 31; a column support 32 erected from the base 31; a pair of blocks 33 capable of ascending and descending along the column support 32 and capable of stopping at a predetermined height; and a plurality of plates 35 engaging with the grooves 34 of the blocks 33 and arranged in parallel to each other and at a predetermined spacing.
