PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrinkle detection apparatus capable of precisely detecting wrinkles even when a skin is glossy.SOLUTION: A wrinkle detection apparatus 100 is an apparatus for detecting an area of wrinkles on a skin included in an image. The wrinkle detection apparatus 100 includes: an image acquisition section 120 that acquires an image; an edge emphasis processing section 220 that generates an unsharp image by smoothing an acquired image, and performs an edge emphasis processing based on the generated unsharp image to generate an edge emphasized image as an image in which edges of the image are emphasized; and a wrinkle detection processing section 230 that performs a wrinkle detection processing on the generated edge emphasized image. The edge emphasis processing is a processing to generate an edge emphasized image by reducing influences in an area where the brightness is higher in an image. |
