PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development that is excellent in a cleaning property of a photoreceptor during printing, and has suppressed the occurrence of white voids in an image even when continuous printing is performed at high image density.SOLUTION: There is provided a toner for electrostatic charge image development that contains toner base particles containing a binder resin and an external additive, where the external additive contains polytetrafluoroethylene particles and metallic soap particles; the content of the polytetrafluoroethylene particles is 0.05 to 0.5 weight% relative to the total weight of the toner, and the total weight of the metallic soap particles is 0.05 to 0.5 weight% relative to the total weight of the toner; the metallic soap particles include a zinc salt of fatty acid and a calcium salt of fatty acid; the content of calcium in the total weight of the metallic soap particles is 100 to 10,000 ppm.
