PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric field intensity estimating method that can easily deal with change of a transmission point and a reception point, and reduce the calculation processing amount without greatly degrading the calculation precision.SOLUTION: An electric field intensity estimating method comprises: estimating the electric field intensity at a reception point of electric waves which are emitted from a transmission point and passed through an opening portion of a building and reaches the reception point; determining plural virtual reception points at the opening portion according to the distance between the transmission point and the opening portion; calculating first electric field intensity at each virtual reception point of plural first rays from the transmission point; determining plural virtual transmission points at the opening portion according to the distance between the opening portion and the reception point; calculating second electric field intensity at the caption point of plural second rays from each virtual transmission point; associating the virtual reception points with the virtual transmission points; and calculating the total of the reception electric field intensities at the reception point of the respective rays obtained by multiplying the first electric field with the second electric field and a weighing coefficient on the assumption that one ray which is emitted from the transmission point and reaches the reception point passes through the virtual reception point and the corresponding virtual transmission point and reaches the reception point. |
