The present invention relates to a display apparatus including an integrated input port unit to which an external port device, including a plurality of input ports that can be accessed by a plurality of connectors, is connected, and to a control method thereof. More particularly, the display apparatus of the present invention comprises: an image processing unit for processing image signals; a display unit for displaying an image processed by the image signals; an integrated input port unit for receiving any one from the image signals outputted through an external port device having a plurality of input ports that can be accessed by a plurality of connectors corresponding to the image signals; and a control unit for controlling the external port device to allow any one from the image signals inputted through the input ports to be inputted, and controlling the image processing unit to allow an image to be displayed based on the image signals inputted to the integrated input port unit. Accordingly, the display apparatus can be thinned, and user convenience is enhanced. |
