PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having excellent transparency, a high refractive index, a high Abbe number, and a low coefficient of linear expansion, and a resin molded body and an optical member obtained by using the resin composition.SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises: a cyclic olefin resin having each specific range of a weight average molecular weight (Mw) and a ratio of the number of carbon atoms to the number of hydrogen atoms in a repeating unit having a cyclic structure; and a cyclic structure-containing hydrocarbon oligomer having each specific range of a weight average molecular weight (Mw) and a ratio of the number of carbon atoms to the number of hydrogen atoms in a repeating unit having a cyclic structure, with a weight ratio ((cyclic olefin resin):(cyclic structure-containing hydrocarbon oligomer)) ranging from 99:1 to 30:70. The resin composition shows a refractive index of 1.530 to 1.600 for light at a wavelength of 587.6 nm and an Abbe number (&ngr;) of 45 to 60. A resin molded article and an optical member are obtained by using the resin composition. |
