PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element mold capable of suppressing difference in curvatures in a plurality of cross sections including an optical axis in a molding surface of an optical element, and to provide a molding method of the optical element.SOLUTION: An optical element mold 10 includes an upper mold 1, a lower mold 2, a cylindrical first drum mold 3 that holds the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2, and a cylindrical second drum mold 4 arranged on the outer peripheral side of the first drum mold 3. A thickness t in a radial direction of the second drum mold 4 is set such that a buckling load of the second drum mold 4 becomes three times or more of a molding load acting thereon, and when the molding load is applied, the second drum mold 4 bends in a manner of reducing astigmatism of molding surfaces 81, 82 of an optical element 8. |
