PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system for transmitting image data in which the image quality in an indicated area can be easily enhanced within a prescribed communication band.SOLUTION: In an image processing system having an image processing device at a transmission side for transmitting image data, and an image processing device at a reception side for receiving the image data, the image processing device at the reception side has area indicating means for indicating a priority area which is more enhanced in image quality than other area out of plural image areas of the image data, and the image processing device at the transmission side has code amount determining means for determining an image code amount of the indicated priority area and an image code amount of the other areas on the basis of the image code amount of the image data to be transmitted, and coding means for encoding each of the image data of the plural image areas on the basis of the determined image code amount and generating the image data to be transmitted. |
