PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically turn the power to the portable telephone of a driver off when refueling, or automatically display a message on the portable telephone of the driver prompting that the power be turned off.SOLUTION: Upon detecting that a fuel lid is opened, a fuel lid open/close detection adapter 1 notifies a portable telephone 2 using wireless communication that the fuel lid is opened. The portable telephone 2 determines, upon receiving the message, a message content by a message reception unit 205 and, when it is a message notifying that the fuel lid is opened, automatically turns the power to the portable telephone 2 off, or displays a message on the display unit of the device prompting that the power be turned off. |
