The present invention relates to an image display apparatus comprising an atypical pixel. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the image display apparatus comprises: a flat panel display having an atypical pixel; and a control unit for nonlinear scaling an input image in response to the atypical pixel, and outputting the nonlinear scaled image to the flat panel display. Accordingly, the image display apparatus can have a curved surface effect on a displayed image. |
