PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with a reduced cost of manufacturing, and a method for manufacturing a display device.SOLUTION: According to the method for manufacturing a display device, a worker can easily position a masking member 5 by use of a mark 41 provided on one surface of a light-transmitting plate 12 to attach the masking member 5 to a front face of the light-transmitting plate 12. Then the worker fills a gap S between the front face of the light-transmitting plate 12 and a rear face of an inner circumference portion of a cover 11 with a filler 21. In this process, an excessive portion of the filler 21 adheres to the masking member 5. Then the worker detaches the masking member 5 from the light-transmitting plate 12. The mark 41 can be easily provided by printing. As a result, a burden of positioning can be eliminated, which reduces the cost of manufacturing a display device 1. |
