PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller burnishing tool of which the structure is simplified, the number of components is decreased, the size is reduced, and the maintainability is improved.SOLUTION: A roller burnishing tool 1 has: a shank 2 to be mounted on a processing machine; a housing 3 connected to the shank 2; a cylindrical frame 5 supported rotatably with respect to the housing 3, and serving as a roller support member; a tapered roller 51 mounted on the frame 5; and a mandrel 6 having a tapered shape part in conformity with the tapered shape of the roller 51. The roller burnishing tool further has a tool diameter following mechanism 8 for connecting the shank 2 to the mandrel 6, and the tool diameter following mechanism includes: a spiral lead groove 24 provided at an enlarged diameter part 22 having a cylindrical shape formed at a tip of the shank 2; a pin member 81 disposed so as to be movable spirally along the lead groove 24; a pin member insertion hole 62b formed at the mandrel 6, and through which the pin member 81 is inserted; and biasing means 82 mounted on the shank 2, for biasing the mandrel 6 forward. |
