Mat-Kimchi is mature Kimchi made of chopped Chinese cabbages (3 to 5 cm in general) with a variety of seasoning. To make the Kimchi, it is necessary to chop Chinese cabbages into a proper size and remove the root of Chinese cabbage, which takes much labor and time. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for automatically removing roots of Chinese cabbage. To that end, it is needed to set the center of the Chinese cabbage at the rotational center of blades for removal. Blades to clearly remove fiber of the Chinese cabbage roots are also necessary. The present invention provides an apparatus for removing Chinese cabbage roots, which comprises: a center guide which always sets the center of Chinese cabbage roots at the same part of the apparatus; a torque limiter which delivers torque to fix Chinese cabbages with regular pressure; a linear guide and a cylinder which move the blades linearly; and blades which cut and remove fiber of the Chinese cabbage roots. The apparatus can remove the Chinese cabbage roots at the same time while chopping Chinese cabbages, thereby saving labor and time and reducing production costs and prices. |
