The present invention relates to a gold thread for a cosmetic procedure; and to a manufacturing method of the gold thread for a cosmetic procedure, capable of securing the uniformity of the thickness and the compactness of the surface of the gold thread. The manufacturing method of the gold thread for a cosmetic procedure comprises the following steps: a) mounting a suture thread or a suture thread support on a sample mount arranged in a chamber of an ultrahigh vacuum evaporation apparatus, and mounting a vacuum evaporation source on a crucible; b) heating the chamber, and evacuating air from the chamber to a pressure of 10^-3 torr by using a first pump while heating the crucible; c) operating a second pump when the first pump is operated, so that the vacuum pressure of the chamber becomes 10^-6 torr; d) operating a third pump of a main exhaust pipe when the operation of the first and second pumps is stopped, so that the vacuum pressure of the chamber becomes 10^-9 torr; e) opening a shutter arranged between the crucible and the chamber to allow the suture thread or the suture thread support mounted on the sample mount to be coated with gold or platinum; and f) stopping a heating process of the crucible when the thickness of a gold or platinum coating layer being deposited becomes 1 μm, making the chamber be kept at normal pressure when the crucible and the source are cooled to room temperature, and taking out the suture thread or the suture thread support coated with gold or platinum. |
