PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape estimation device capable of estimating a shape, an endoscope system with the shape estimation device, a shape estimation method, and a program for shape estimation.SOLUTION: An embodiment of the present invention relates to a shape estimation device comprising an input unit, a storage unit, and a shape calculation unit. The input unit is configured to be input with light quantity information, indicating the relationship between a wavelength and a light quantity, obtained by a sensor which is configured such that a light quantity detected at a wavelength corresponding to each of a plurality of detected parts differs according to the shape of each of the plurality of detected parts. The storage unit stores a light quantity estimation relationship including shape characteristic information representing the relationship between the shape, the wavelength, and the light quantity for each of the plurality of detected parts. The shape calculation unit calculates the shape of each of the plurality of detected parts on the basis of the light quantity information and a light quantity estimation value which indicates the relationship between the wavelength and the light quantity as calculated on the basis of the light quantity estimation relationship.
