PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic compound treatment apparatus, in which a volatile organic compound A is adsorbed by an adsorption agent of an adsorption tower 11 and subsequently desorbed by feeding desorption steam F so as to be burned in a combustion furnace 31, thereby to level the quantity of the volatile organic compound to reach the combustion furnace by a simple method.SOLUTION: A temperature sensor is mounted in said adsorption layer so that the desorption steam to be supplied is decreased if a temperature rise is detected at the time of said desorption.
