PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music therapy support device capable of acquiring data for determining imbalance between right and left sides of the body while applying music therapy using a percussion instrument.SOLUTION: A music therapy support device comprises an acquisition part, a conversion part, a deviation quantity calculation part and a first calculation part. The acquisition part acquires timing information at least including timing of bar lines in music. The conversion part converts operation timing of a right-foot pedal, operation timing of a left-foot pedal, beating timing of a right-hand drum pad and beating timing of a left-hand drum pad, which are detected by a first detection part, into respective performance information. The deviation quantity calculation part calculates a deviation quantity of the respective performance information from the timing information. The first calculation part calculates body balance data for a player by comparing the deviation quantity in the operation of the right-foot pedal with that in the operation of the left-foot pedal and/or by comparing the deviation quantity in the beating of the right-hand drum pad with that in the beating of the left-hand drum pad. |
