PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control method of a negative pressure pump for suppressing deterioration of startability of an engine at a low temperature.SOLUTION: In a drive control method of a negative pressure pump which has an electromagnetic clutch and is driven by power transmitted from an engine in a connection state of the electromagnetic clutch so as to generate a negative pressure, when starting the engine in the condition that at least one of an outside air temperature, a water temperature of engine cooling water, and an oil temperature of engine oil is equal to or lower than a threshold set in advance, the electromagnetic clutch is disconnected at least while being cranked, and the negative pressure pump is put into a non-drive state. |
