PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a periphery monitoring apparatus by which a periphery and a front side of a work vehicle are easily confirmed.SOLUTION: A display image generation section 235 of a periphery monitoring apparatus 200 generates a front confirmation image on the basis of a front viewpoint image generated by a traveling direction viewpoint image generation section 230 on the basis of a video image acquired by a front camera 205 and an upper viewpoint image generated by an upper viewpoint image generation section 255 on the basis of images acquired by the front camera 205, a left camera 220 and a right camera 215. Similarly, a display image generation section 235 generates a back confirmation image on the basis of a rear viewpoint image generated by the traveling direction viewpoint image generation section 230 on the basis of a video image acquired by a rear camera 210 and an upper viewpoint image generated by the upper viewpoint image generation section 255 on the basis of video images acquired by the rear camera 210, the left camera 220 and the right camera 215.
