According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are a liquefied gas storage apparatus and a method for supplying a liquefied gas, which can prevent loss due to a boil-off gas generated during the supply of the liquefied gas. The liquefied gas storage apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a liquefied gas storage tank which has a space to store the liquefied gas, and has a supply hole and an outlet prepared to supply and discharge the liquefied gas at one side; a cooling part which is provided around the liquefied gas storage tank, and forms a flow path space where a refrigerant having a boiling temperature lower than a boiling temperature of the liquefied gas is circulated; and a refrigerant supply tank for supplying the refrigerant to the cooling part. The cooling part includes a refrigerant circulation pipe which is arranged in numerous columns so that the refrigerant can circulate along an outer circumference of the liquefied gas storage tank, and includes a groove part which is provided in correspondence to the refrigerant circulation pipe on the outer circumference of the liquefied gas storage tank, and accommodates the liquefied gas, and increases a contact area with the liquefied gas storage tank.
