PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further stably wind a rolled material by optimizing speed control of a pinch roll.SOLUTION: A control method of a pinch roll 2 in a winding device is provided for winding a rolled material 1 after rolling on a mandrel 3 while holding by the pinch roll 2. A gap of the pinch roll 2 is controlled in response to a tension command value of tension imparted to the rolled material 1. A peripheral speed command value of the pinch roll 2 is set in a peripheral speed slower than a carrying speed of the rolled material. The peripheral speed command value is corrected in response to the tension of the rolled material, and a motor 5 for rotatingly driving the pinch roll 2 is controlled in a speed based on the peripheral speed command value after correction. |
