PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device high in heat dissipation properties from a wavelength conversion layer.SOLUTION: A light emitting device includes a light source module and a wavelength conversion part disposed at the light source module in an irradiation direction. The wavelength conversion part includes: a holding member including a through hole through which light emitted from the light source module passes; a wavelength conversion layer joined on the holding member via a metal bump; a first frame body disposed on the holding member, surrounding the wavelength conversion layer, and disposed so as to be in contact with a side face of the wavelength conversion layer; and a second frame body disposed on the holding member, surrounding the wavelength conversion layer, and disposed so as to be apart from a side face of the wavelength conversion layer. A reflective material is filled between the wavelength conversion layer side face and the second frame body. |
