PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of preventing image flow even at a high transfer rate while suppressing bleeding and feathering.SOLUTION: An image formation device 100 includes recording heads 61Y, 61M, 61C, 61BK for discharging an aqueous recording liquid to an intermediate transfer body, and a supply means 73 which supplies an intermediate transfer body 37 with a process liquid having been emulsified as W/O emulsion in which an aqueous solvent containing hydrophilic high polymer becomes a dispersion phase and a low polarity solvent which is incompatible with the aqueous solvent becomes a continuous layer by a first surfactant. A surface layer 37b of the intermediate transfer body 37 is made from a material which absorbs the low polarity solvent of the process liquid. |
