PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for actualizing early temperature rise of an emission control catalyst without the need for routing an electric wire to a casing supporting the emission control catalyst.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 10 includes a connection flow path 22 connecting an exhaust gas flow path 14B and an exhaust gas flow path 14A. Exhaust gas passing through an emission control catalyst 12 is returned via the connection flow path 22 to the exhaust gas flow path 14A to cause the temperature rise of the exhaust gas flowing in the exhaust gas flow path 14A. The temperature-rising exhaust gas passes through the emission control catalyst 12, resulting in earlier temperature rise of the emission control catalyst 12 up to an activation temperature without the need for routing the electric wire to the casing supporting the emission control catalyst, than the case that the exhaust gas is not returned to the exhaust gas flow path 14A. |
