PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in the case where a voltage type converter is used for a power conversion device in which unit converters are multiplexed in series to a transformer, there is the risk that a little direct current may flow to the transformer and in order to enlarge a bias magnetism tolerance, countermeasures such as enlarging a transformer core or using a transformer including a gap are required.SOLUTION: In the power conversion device, the unit converters each including a switching element and at least one capacitor are multiplexed in series to the transformer. The power conversion device is characterized in that a current that flows to the unit converter flows through any one of the capacitors without fail. |
