Disclosed are a heating device of a hot stamping material, and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device of the hot stamping material comprises: an electrode part mounted on both ends of a plating steel material, including a plurality of electrodes; a support comprised on a position corresponding to the electrode, supporting the plating steel material; a power supply part to supply a current by being connected to the electrode; and a control part to control a supply current of the power supply part. Moreover, the heating method of the hot stamping material in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a temperature rising first step of preheating the plating steel material to a reference temperature by controlling a supply of electricity of the power supply part through the electrode mounted on both ends of the plating steel material; and a temperature rising second step of heating the plating steel material to an austenite stabilization temperature by performing cross-conduction of the electrodes mounted on both ends of the plating steel material by changing a polarity of each electrode, if the plating steel material reaches a reference temperature. |
