PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of operating a fuel battery system that can prevent a fuel battery from falling into a dry-up state even when a turbo pump is adopted.SOLUTION: In a method of operating a fuel battery system 1 having a fuel battery 2, a turbo pump 10, an oxidant gas supply flow passage 42, an oxidant off-gas discharge flow passage 46, a branch flow passage 48, a branch valve 52, and a control device 6 for controlling generated power of the fuel battery 2, the control device 6 controls the turbo pump 10 and the branch valve 52 to adjust the flow amount of oxidant gas supplied to the fuel battery 2 in an extremely low power generation mode which requires extremely low generated power not more than predetermined generated power corresponding to the lowest flow amount of the oxidant gas which can be supplied by the turbo pump 10. |
