PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial safety hat that has a sufficient impact absorption capacity, that hardly causes heat stagnancy or sweatiness, and that has high wearing comfort.SOLUTION: A safety hat includes: a hard hat body 2; a shell 3 composed of a ratchet suspension 4 and a headband 5 that come into contact with the head; and a protective pad 9 that is situated between the shell 3 and the hat body 2 to absorb impact. The protective pad 9 has an annular base 10 and an impact absorbing structure 11 which is provided in the base 10 and which has a prescribed impact absorbing capacity. The base 10 is arranged in a position higher than the headband 5 and lower than the apex of the ratchet suspension 4. |
