PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing method and a testing device for giving a duty equal to a real operational state to a converter of MMC by means of a simple circuit.SOLUTION: A testing method including a connection step and a supply step is provided. In the connection step, a plurality of converters are bridge-connected by a bridge circuit. The converter includes first and second switching elements and a charge storage element. The bridge circuit includes a pair of input terminals connected to a DC power source, first to fourth arm parts and an AC load. In the supply step, a voltage reference in a sinusoidal wave shape is set for the unit of the plurality of converters, and voltages at a first connection point and a second connection point are controlled to be matched with the voltage reference, respectively, thereby applying a voltage to the AC load. |
