The confirming and ticketing system comprises a data input adapted to confirm and input the status of passengers having reserved tickets occupying the reserved seats in the train. A radio wave receiver is carried in each car of the train and receives the transmitted data. A confirming and ticketing controller collectively receives through a data line the data outputted from the respective radio wave receiver and enables re-ticketing of the vacant reserved seats in the case of the presence of vacant reserved seats in accordance with communication established with the field operation centre.
