The present invention relates to a thin tube damper, comprising: a pipe-like tube; a piston which is inserted into the tube and linearly reciprocates; a rod which is formed to be integrated with the piston and of which a part is exposed to the outside of the tube; and a bush which guides movement of the rod. A sealing groove is formed on the outer circumferential edge of the piston, and felt is mounted on the sealing groove. According to the thin tube damper with improved damping performance of the present invention, the sealing groove is formed to connect the felt to the outer circumferential edge of the piston which reciprocates along the tube, the felt mounted on the sealing groove absorbs vibration of the piston and reduces friction between the outer circumferential edge of the felt and inner circumferential edge of the tube, and thus, service life of an air damper is improved, and operations of the damper become remarkably smooth. In addition, by manufacturing the tube using carbon steel pipe for a mechanical structure, and by shrinking the outer diameter of an upper part of the tube to make the bush fitted in a multi-close fit manner through a pipe shrinkage processing, durability of the tube is improved, the bush and the tube are firmly coupled without additional coupling means, and thus, manufacturing becomes remarkably convenient. |
