摘要 The present invention relates to an optical fiber vibration sensor and a vibration measurement method using the same, and more specifically, to an optical fiber vibration sensor capable of measuring vibration by converting an optical output signal into an electrical signal and a vibration measurement method using the same. An embodiment of the present invention provides the optical fiber vibration sensor which includes: a polarization-diversity-loop-based interfering part which includes a polarization maintaining optical fiber for generating an interference spectrum, a polarized beam splitter which is connected to the polarization maintaining optical fiber and splits light incident from a narrow band light source into two polarized beams, and a polarization controller which is connected to the polarization maintaining optical fiber or the polarized beam splitter and controls the two polarized beams split through the polarization beam splitter; and an optical fiber vibration test part which is combined with the polarization maintaining optical fiber in order to apply external vibration to the polarization maintaining optical fiber. The present invention provides the optical fiber vibration sensor which can measure vibration applied to the polarization maintaining optical fiber through the optical fiber vibration test part by converting optical output intensity of the polarization-diversity-loop-based interfering part into an electrical signal by a light detector.
