The headlight (2) has a housing mountable at a motor vehicle (4). The housing has an opening (14) for aeration of an area formed in an inner side of the housing and stays in connection with a vehicle-fixed air duct. The opening and the air duct are coupled with connection units. A connection between the connection units is established in a direction that corresponds to a mounting direction of the housing relative to the vehicle, so that the mounting of the housing at the vehicle is accompanied with the establishment of the connection between the connection units.
