The embodiment of the invention relates to the field of communication systems and discloses a message processing method and device which can reduce processing time delay of data frames. The message processing method comprises the steps that firstly a frame header analyzer can analyze frame headers of received segment data frames and send the frame heads and the analyzing results corresponding to the frame headers to a PE, then the PE can process the received frame headers and the analyzing results corresponding to the frame headers, and finally the frame header analyzer judges whether segment data frames which are not analyzed exist in the data frames. If no segment data frames which are not analyzed exist in the data frames, the frame header analyzer stops analyzing operation, and meanwhile the PE releases resources occupied by the processed frame headers and the analyzing results corresponding to the frame headers. The embodiment of the message processing method is suitable for a programmable interchanger to process received data frames. |
