The present invention provides a method and system for automatically adjusting and controlling a smart home according to positioning information. The method comprises: defining smart home control policies corresponding to indoor partitions; detecting a positioning device worn by a user; and determining whether the acquired current position of the user falls within an indoor partition, and if yes, generating an action control instruction according to a smart home control policy corresponding to the determined indoor partition, and sending the action control instruction to the corresponding smart home. The present invention does not require manually controlling switches of the smart home.
