<p>After a collision of a vehicle against an object outside the vehicle has been detected and before the brake control after collision for automatically braking the vehicle after a collision is carried out, a vehicle control apparatus of the invention predicts a yaw generation probability that is a degree of generation of yaw generated to the vehicle when the brake control after collision is carried out, based on a collision direction and a collision position of the vehicle with respect to the object outside the vehicle, and when the predicted yaw generation probability is high, the brake control after collision is suppressed from being carried out in comparison with a case that the yaw generation probability is low. With the configuration, the vehicle control apparatus can reduce the possibility of generation of yaw generated by the brake control after collision.</p> |
