PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type developing device and a wet type image forming apparatus which have a structure capable of suppressing the generation of toner deposit, without damaging a developing roller.SOLUTION: The wet type developing device includes a developer carrier 4, a supply member 5 which supplies a wet type developer 41 to the developer carrier 4, electrifying means 6 which applies an electric charge to the wet type developer 41 on the developer carrier 4, cleaning means 10 which cleans the wet type developer on the developer carrier 4, and bias application means 31 which comes into contact with the developer carrier 4, before cleaning by the cleaning means 10 and applies an AC bias. In a direction along the rotation axis of the developer carrier 4, a range to which the AC bias is applied by the bias application member 31 is located in a range where the wet type developer 41 is supplied onto the developer carrier 4. |
