PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear projection projector capable of stably detecting light reflected from a detection target on a screen surface.SOLUTION: A rear projection projector 100 includes: a projection unit 10 for projecting projection light; a collimator lens 20 for converting the projection light into parallel light; a screen 30 having a back surface 31, to which the projection light collimated by the collimator lens 20 is incident, and a front surface 32, opposite the back surface 31, from which the projection light exits; and a light detection unit 40 for detecting light reflected by a detection target on the front surface 32 of the screen. The screen 30 is formed such that an angle &thetas;between the front surface 32 and the back surface 31 is an acute angle. |
