A computer network escrow payment method for the transfer of funds between two parties. The first party depositing funds to a transaction server holding account for the second party. The second party is automatically notified that an agreed minimum amount of funds have been deposited into the holding account. The first party is notified of completion by the second party of services specified in their service agreement. This is recorded in a database. The first party confirms completion of the second party services, which authorises the transaction server to release the funds from the holding account to the second party.
