Provided is a blood processing filter wherein, by pinching and holding the outer edge of a sheet-like filter element by means of gripping sections provided to an inlet-side container member and an outlet-side container member of a rigid container, the interior space is partitioned into an inlet space and an outlet space by the filter element. The rigid container is provided with a vapor-permeable section having a vapor-permeable property, and upon the filter element being provided inside the rigid container, the portion that is pinched by the gripping portions is compressed to a thickness from 0.05 times to 0.5 times, inclusive, the original thickness, or the variation coefficient of the thickness of the filter element is 6% or below. |
