The objective of the present invention is to provide: a pseudo-isotropic reinforced sheet material with which good fluidity during molding can be achieved using a thin-layer chopped semi-prepreg sheet material; and a method for producing said pseudo-isotropic reinforced sheet material. This pseudo-isotropic reinforced sheet material (T) is provided with a layered body (M) formed by adhering and integrating a plurality of chopped semi-prepreg sheet materials (C) in an overlapped state such that the fiber direction of a reinforcement fiber material is oriented randomly in a two-dimensional direction and the average number of sheet materials in the thickness direction is in the range of 2-10, wherein the chopped semi-prepreg sheet materials (C), which comprise a reinforcement fiber material and a thermoplastic resin material, said thermoplastic resin material being set in an unimpregnated state, are formed integrally such that the fiber direction of the reinforcement fiber material is oriented randomly in a two-dimensional direction, and in the chopped semi-prepreg sheet materials (C), the average number of fibers in the thickness direction is set in the range of 2-10 and the thickness (t) relative to the thickness (tp) in an impregnated state is set in the range: tp < t ≤ 2×tp. |
