The photographing apparatus includes: an image sensing unit which continuously captures a plurality of images by using a rolling shutter method; and an image processor which compensates for a uniformly accelerated motion of the photographing apparatus by using the plurality of images.

1. A photographing apparatus comprising:
an image sensor configured to receive a plurality of images by using a rolling shutter method; a motion estimator configured to compare at least one pixel line in each of the plurality of images, corresponding to one another in the plurality of images, to determine displacements of the at least one pixel line in the plurality of images, and estimate a accelerated motion of the photographing apparatus based on the determined displacements of the at least one pixel line in the plurality of images; and an image processor configured to generate an image by compensating for the accelerated motion of the photographing apparatus estimated by the motion estimator.
