PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wirelessly transmit paper size information, from an external terminal, to a fixing unit to limit the paper size, the fixing unit used for a remounting system of a fixing unit designed for a user who wants to securely prevent unevenness in glossiness due to damage to an edge.SOLUTION: There is provided a fixing unit 100 that can be attached/detached to/from an image forming apparatus 1, and includes: a pair of rotating bodies 101 and 102 that form a nip part N for fixing a toner image on a recording material with heat and pressure; a receiving part 118 that can receive, from an external terminal 800, information corresponding to the width size of the recording material in order to limit the application of the fixing unit; and a storage part 117 that stores the information received by the receiving part. |
