PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypeptide for the use in inhibition of a cancer and cancer disorders by employing the use of a non-cytotoxic protease, which is targeted to a cancer cell and when delivered in that way, is internalized to inhibit secretion from the cancer cell.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a polypeptide used for inhibiting a cancer cell which expresses a SNARE protein involved in secretion from the cancer cell. The polypeptide contains: a non-cytotoxic protease which can cleave the SNARE protein; a target member (TM) which can bind to a binding site on the cancer cell; and a translocation domain. The cancer cell is not a neuroendocrine tumor cell, and the polypeptide is not the Clostridium neurotoxin (holotoxin). |
