PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection device capable of reducing a power loss due to a damping resistor, and further to provide a liquid injection type printer.SOLUTION: When a signal from a drive waveform signal generation circuit 25 is subjected to pulse modulation in a modulation circuit 26, a pulse-modulated signal PWM is subjected to power amplification in a digital power amplification circuit 28 and a power-amplified and pulse-modulated signal APWM is smoothed by a smoothing filter 29 so as to obtain a drive signal COM, resonance characteristics can be compensated at the time of non-use of the a damping resistor for the smooth filter 29 by setting transfer characteristics &bgr; of a compensator 32 such that frequency characteristics of: electrostatic capacitance of the modulation circuit 26, the digital power amplifier circuit 28, the smooth filter 29 and an actuator 22 driven; and a drive signal feedback closed loop constituted of the compensator 32 are constant up to a predetermined attenuation starting frequency. Consequently, the damping resistor is unnecessary, and a power loss can be reduced. |
