PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant and/or a cosmetic composition which can be used as an anti-aging compound and/or anti-aging composition.SOLUTION: The invention provides a cosmetic composition containing (a) an aqueous extract of pulverized leaves of Manilkara multinervis (Sapotaceae), the aqueous extract being prepared by a method comprising a water extraction or aqueous buffer extraction of pulverized leaves at 60°C to 100°C or under reflux, isolation of a liquid extract from an insoluble fraction, filtration of the liquid extract, and concentration of the liquid extract, and optionally, drying of the concentrated liquid extract after that; and (b) at least one kind of media suitable for cosmetics. |
