1. A method of inhibiting fouling on structural parts of a system exposed to a fluid hydrocarbon or petrochemical stream comprising adding an antifoulant composition to said fluid hydrocarbon or petrochemical stream, said antifoulant composition comprising:
(1) at least one polyalkylene anhydride ester (“PAAE”) dispersant, said dispersant comprising an adduct of at least one acid ester of mono- or polycarboxylic acid and an acylating reagent selected from the group consisting of fumaric acid, maleic anhydride, maleic acid, succinic anhydride, and succinic acid. |
