The invention relates to a pulverulent composition for dispersion and/or dissolution in water, comprising 5% by weight to 98% by weight of chalk and at least one substance having water retention capacity and at least one hydrophilic additive and additionally a hydrophobic additive. More particularly, the invention further relates to the use of the pulverulent composition, for example, as a spackling compound, casting compound, paint, cosmetic product or wellness product.
