A drilling type sidewall coring device, comprising a main machine body, a transmission, a drill bit mounted on the transmission, a machine frame contained in the main machine body, and two or more first hydraulic cylinders. The transmission is mounted on the machine frame in a rotatable way, the first hydraulic cylinders are mounted on the main machine body, and pistons of the first hydraulic cylinders are connected with the machine frame, and the stretching and retracting motion of the pistons of the first hydraulic cylinders drives the machine frame to perform a radial motion in the main machine body, so that the drill bit stretches out or retracts from the main machine body. The drilling type sidewall coring device is provided with the machine frame in the main machine body, the transmission equipped with the drill bit is mounted on the machine frame, and the hydraulic cylinders are used to directly drive the machine frame to perform a radial motion in the main machine body, so as to realize the stretching and retraction of the drill bit. Such a structure is simple to implement and also reliable, improving the precision of coring. A right-angle reducer for driving the drill bit is mounted on the machine frame, a motor for driving the right-angle reducer is mounted in the main machine body, and the motor is connected with the right-angle reducer through a flexible shaft. The motor realizes power transfer through the flexible shaft and the right-angle reducer to drive the drill bit to rotate. The transfer efficiency is relatively high, and the power performance of the drill bit is sufficient in the process of coring, thus the rate of success of coring is increased remarkably.
