A line-of-sight input parameter correction device determines which image among a group of images being displayed on a display device a user is looking at. The line-of-sight input parameter correction device is provided with: an image acquisition unit that acquires a facial image of the user; a line-of-sight detection unit that detects a line-of-sight position of the user; a point-of-regard map creation unit that identifies a plurality of areas at which the line-of-sight stayed on a screen of the display device; a storage device in which information of the group of images being displayed on the display device is stored; and a correction unit that compares the plurality of areas obtained by the point-of-regard map creation unit with the information of the group of images stored in the storage device, estimates which of the group of images the plurality of areas correspond, and corrects a parameter of the line-of-sight detection unit on the basis of the result of the estimation. |
